Honest Iron & Steel Ltd has a full-fledged laboratory for testing of mechanical and metallurgical properties in addition to the checking of Quality of Raw Materials and other inputs. It is the normal procedure to carry out the inspection at all levels of Production as well as Final Inspection before dispatch.

For quality Control and Inspection, highly Qualified and well-trained Staff and personnel are recruited to do the testing.

Quality is a Process, a Journey rather than a milestone. Thus Quality to be achieved can be done through the Continuous Improvement in Quality Products, Processes, and Systems with the Involvement of all employees and up Grading of their Skills.

We at Honest Iron use the following testing Instruments :

  1. C.E. Meter for checking of % of Carbon, % of Silicon, % of Carbon Equivalent, Tensile Strength, and Hardness of the metal.
  2. We have Metal Soft make image analyzer to check Nodule Count & % of Nodularity in the Test Piece Of Ductile Iron.
  3. Sand Sieve Analyzer for checking the size of incoming new sand.
  4. Green Compression Strength Testing Machine for green sand.
  5. We give regular training program.
  6. Bentonite and Coal Dust have been checked at an outside laboratory, every lot.
  7. Poldi Hardness tester for Cross Checking the hardness of Casting.

We give a general training program for the employees which includes a 50 Hours training per anum for better understanding of new upcoming technologies.

We also do Interaction with the Customers through Customer Relationship Programme’s, thus understanding the needs, requirements of the Customers. Better interaction with Customers will result in an increase in the understanding of Customer Requirements and thus ensuring a fully satisfied customer.
