Honest Iron & Steel Ltd. has both Hand Moulding as well as Machine Moulding as their core competency. It’s the most traditional system of producing casting with reasonably fair dimensional accuracy. At Honest Iron we follow 3 types of hand moulding processes:
- Molasses Sand Moulding.
- Green Sand Moulding.
- CO2 Sand Moulding
For Hand Moulding the company can produce quality Casting in any reasonable dimension.
The Molasses Sand Moulding process is the oldest moulding practice followed by any foundry. It is a comparatively cost-effective process to produce a small quantity of casting.
In-Hand Moulding we can produce quality casting in Graded Cast Iron up to 700kg per piece & in Ductile Iron up to 600kg per piece.
CO2 Moulding Practice has a characteristic of better mould strength and rigidity, hence suitable for heavy and large geometrical casting. At Honest Iron we use Flammable Zircon based coating by spray to avail best surface finish on casting.
